Same Google listing, 23% more calls, zero ad spend.
A Tampa med spa offering injectables, body contouring, and medical weight loss already had a Google listing that worked. The job was not to get it seen more. It was to get more of the people who saw it to call. Here is what changed, with the real Google Business Profile reports.
Seen by thousands. Acted on by too few.
The clinic’s listing was already producing around a hundred calls a month, which most agencies would call fine. But a listing can show up for every search and still lose the patient at the moment she decides whether to tap Call. That was the gap: not visibility, conversion. It is the first thing we check in any Tampa med spa SEO engagement.
-
Half the services missing
A patient searching “lip filler Tampa” saw a generic medical spa entry with no mention of lip filler, pricing, or who does it.
-
Three-year-old photos
The gallery predated the current treatment rooms and team. Nothing told a new patient what walking in would feel like.
-
Reviews arriving by accident
Nobody was asking for reviews after visits, and nobody was replying to the ones that came in.
-
Booking button pointed to the homepage
One extra screen between “interested” and “booked”, on a phone, at night. Enough to lose the appointment.
Six fixes, done once and kept up every week.
Nothing here is exotic. Any clinic could do it, if someone had the time to do all of it, keep doing it, and measure what moved. That is the part that usually fails.
Every service, filled in
Botox, Xeomin, lip filler, non-surgical BBL, semaglutide, vitamin injections: each listed with a description and price range, so the listing matches what patients actually type.
Real photos, refreshed monthly
Treatment rooms, the team, and consented before-and-afters replaced the old gallery. New photos go up every month.
A post every week
One offer, one treatment spotlight, or one patient question answered. Keeps the listing active and gives Google fresh text to match.
Review requests on autopilot
A text goes out 24 hours after each visit through the clinic’s GoHighLevel CRM using our review automation. Every review gets a reply within a day.
Book button to the calendar
The listing’s Book action now opens the GoHighLevel calendar, not the homepage. One tap fewer between interested and booked.
Call tracking and Q&A
Calls from the listing tracked separately from the website inside GoHighLevel, and the Questions section seeded with the four things patients always ask: natural, pain, cost, how to book.

Straight from the Google Business Profile performance dashboard. Comparison period is May to September 2025. The only thing removed is the clinic’s name.
Calls grew four times faster than views.
Views rose a little. Clicks rose a little. Calls rose 22.9%. When the number of people seeing a listing barely changes but the number calling jumps, the listing itself got more convincing. That is what optimisation means in practice: not more eyeballs, more decisions.
- The right services, by name. A patient looking for Xeomin sees Xeomin, not “medical spa”.
- Recent reviews with replies. Fresh stars and a clinic that answers reads as a clinic that answers the phone too.
- A button that goes where it says. Book means the calendar, on the first tap.
- Built for 9 PM on a phone. 68% of views are mobile. Every element was checked on a phone screen, not a desktop.
Five months. One listing. No ad spend.
The listing works. Three leaks remain.
These are the next phase of the engagement. We will update this page with results at the 90-day mark.
Maps is only 6% of views
Most med spas see 15 to 25% from Google Maps. The clinic sits outside the top three in the local pack for its main treatments. Local SEO: treatment pages and citations are the fix.
The website is stuck on page 2
556,000 impressions a quarter at an average position of 23.7 and a 0.6% click rate. Dedicated treatment pages and rewritten titles move those to page 1. See our med spa SEO service.
580 calls. How many answered?
About a third of calls to small clinics go unanswered, most after 6 PM. NexioFront, our AI voice receptionist, answers those calls and books them instead of sending them to voicemail.
Reviews that mention treatments
Google and AI search both weight reviews that name the service. The review request will start asking patients which treatment they had.
Find out what your listing is leaving on the table.
Send us your clinic’s name. We will pull your Google Business Profile report, compare it with the clinics around you, and tell you the two or three changes that would move calls first. Takes us a day. Costs you nothing. Or see everything we do for clinics on the med spa marketing services page.
